The Stanwell Family Centre has received £10,000 from the Mayor Spelthorne’s Charity Fund. Cllr Susan Doran has been a keen advocate for the work of the Trust’s work in Spelthorne, especially all the support the Family Centre provides to local families. We are very grateful for this amazing support and congratulate the Mayor on her successful fundraising. Thank you!
We were delighted to welcome Kwasi Kwarteng MP to Stanwell Family Centre on 3 March 2023. Kwasi was greeted by the CEO of Surrey Care Trust, John Downing and Janette Breese, Stanwell Family Centre Manager. Kwasi was impressed with the work of Stanwell Family Centre in the community.
Stanwell Family Centre were delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayor’s Consort, Cllrs Sue, and John Doran to draw our Christmas Raffle prizes for 2022. Many families took part in the raffle, over £200 was raised, which contribute to purchasing additional resources for children and their families who visit Stanwell Family Centre.
Madame Mayor and Cllr John Doran have supported Stanwell Family Centre for many years, and it was an honour that they gave their time to support us.
The Mayor of Spelthorne, Cllr Susan Doran invited us to her Charity Ball on Saturday, 25 March at The Runnymede on Thames Hotel. The main purpose of the night was to raise funds for her two charities, Spelthorne Mental Health Association and Stanwell Family Centre. It was an absolute pleasure to be at the Charity Ball with the Mayor her Consort, Cllr John Doran and meet the many professionals working across Spelthorne and Surrey.
